     7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Oregon’s Black Bear Management Program.

ODFW biologist David Keiter will teach us how to be effective during spring and fall bear hunting seasons by sharing:

  1. How our black bear population size and health is estimated
  2. Photos and descriptions of basic bear needs (food, water, habitat)
  3. Seasonal habits and patterns
  4. Other nuggets designed to help us in the hunting woods.
  5. And best of all, we’ve asked David to put an X on a map for us!

This free class is hosted by the Hoodview chapter of Oregon Hunters Association to help you improve your odds for taking a black bear.

Even if you’re unlikely to pursue bear, come mingle with 20+ friendly folks from all levels of hunting experience.
