Expired Efficient And Effective Online Scouting For Deer And Elk

This intermediate level class leapfrogs past the fundamentals of operating navigational tools, and dives into finding resources that identify desirable clear cuts, recent timber treatments, and recovering burns.

The 3-point premise is:

1. Find desirable hunting area using obscure yet readily available information
2. Online scout said area with tools like onX
3. Make a plan and implement

This fast paced class crams a 90 minute presentation into 60 minutes using real time information. So come prepared to make notes and take photos.

At least three instructors will be available during and after class for any questions whatsoever, including fundamental and operational questions bypassed in the presentation.

We are entering the prime season for ‘boots on the ground’ scouting, and this class launches that effort for new hunters. At least one instructor is available for light coaching as you prepare your scout and after you return.

Learn To Hunt instructors understand the thought of tromping through the woods without a mentor intimidates most new hunters. So, we’ll coach you on how to get safely and effectively started. We even have three scouting field days you can join in June/July/August!

Learn To Hunt instructors also understand folks who have hunted one or two seasons might be quite frustrated. This class is especially for you!
