* you need the stamina to ascend and descend gradual 500 foot elevation changes. Bushwhacking is literally walking off trail through hunting woods, stepping over logs, avoiding face smacking tree branches, and sidestepping sticker bushes, while walkinging a fairly straight line. You need sturdy footwear. Be serious about this!
** field dressing is one rabbit for two participants. Taking turns is expected. It’s ok to pass on your turn and simply observe. You can purchase your own rabbit for $25.00. You must order it in advance and pay cash at the event.
The Oregon Hunters Association sponsors this event at no charge in hopes that you find enough value to support the program by purchasing a $35.00 membership or making a donation. Membership applications and a donation box will be available.
This workshop requires at least 20 people to register before June 15th. It will be capped at 30 people.
This event takes a ton of volunteer hours so we must confirm enough folks are interested.
Additional details and contact info will be shared as the event draws closer.
