This 2-hour class flows with the sequence of decisions
a new hunter faces in the pursuit of deer and elk in Oregon.

Class includes where to hunt with video examples of good and poor habitat

Effective Online Scouting

Almost Monthly March Through September

The practical application of cutting edge phone based GPS systems

Including live online scouting

Deer & Elk Scouting Field Day

Once a month June, July, August 8:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.

At hunting locations on Mt. Hood near Timothy Lake and Starker Forest near Corvalis

Learn how to identify likely habitat ● Navigate off trail with GPS ●

Practice wind checking ● Spot simulated blacktail deer ●Shoot/don’t shoot drills ●

Hang and check trail cameras ● Test any of your gear.
