Introduction To Hunting

This two-hour class is for adults new to hunting and provides an overview of hunting in Oregon
Topics covered in class include:
- Species available to hunt in Oregon
- When it’s okay to hunt certain species
- Legal documents needed to hunt
- Hunting regulations and how to use them
- Hunting ethics and fair chase principles
- Overview of firearms and other equipment needed for hunting
This fast-paced fun class is one in a series of in-person and online classes, clinics, and events designed to fast track a new hunter’s learning curve. The series culminates in live scouting days on Mt. Hood this summer. You could be hunting this fall!
