Overview

With tracking wounded game, experience is the best teacher. Sometimes animals fall in sight, but more often than not they will run some distance before getting sick and dying. After an animal is shot, it’s the hunter’s job to watch carefully where the animal goes, have a good sense of timing when pursuing , and make smart and ethical choices when tracking. This lesson provides some perspectives on good tracking and some pitfalls to avoid.
