In spot and stalk hunting, a hunter sets up in a high vantage point to look out over a landscape in search of animals to hunt. Typically, the hunter will use high-power optics such as binoculars or spotting scopes to help locate game. Once animals are spotted, the hunter makes a plan to get close enough for a shot.
